l have microwaved, steamed, eaten raw.....yet l am not sure which is the best way to get the full nutritional power from vegetables. l really love tomatoes, but l read that they must be cooked in order to gain the full benefit from the lycopene that they contain.But how do you cook a tomato? l also love broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, and carrots.Does anybody have any advice for me?

I usually stem them myself, my mom told me it is the best way to keep the nutrients in veggies..so along with eating them raw cause I am sure with that you get all the good nutrients I would say stem them.
